To Wake the King

Somewhere, in the hills, in the hollow hills the King is sleeping. Perhaps in Eryri at Dinas Affaraon, or at Craig y Dinas, or at Tintagel in Kernow, or in the Eildon Hills in the dark North.

One day and perhaps one day very soon, he will awake.

Who is the King? Some might like to say it is Arthur, and if that pleases you, all well and good. However he may be embodied, The King will bring a return to hope, courage and human dignity irrespective of race, religion or belief.

If he ever was needed more than now, then that time must have been a very dark time indeed! Was there ever a time such as now, a time of such withering and wilting and warring and wanting and countless secret fear-begotten miseries; and yet such opportunity and real potential for harmonious evolution?

And now, at the turn of the tide, the King may awake. Perhaps between us we can dispel the charmed sleep of ages and give the answer to the stirring King, “Yes, at last it is Day!”
